Producer Appointment Requirements
We will generally require a face-to-face
meeting before entering an agreement to pursue business.
Your book of business, your target marketing strategies,
and your 2-3 year business plan for umbrella/excess
business will be of great interest during our evaluation.
We never wish to over-appoint any
geographic area, so a discussion of your competitors
will be a topic for conversation as well.
Requirements for Appointment with The Windward Group:
Completed Application/Questionnaire.
Executed Company and Broker Agreement.
Evidence of E&O Insurance ($5mm requirment).
Copies of Surplus Lines Licenses
