The Windward Group, Inc. is essentially an individual risk underwriting facility, underwriting both lead umbrella and excess liability coverage for manufacturing, contracting, transportation, retail, wholesale, and service-related risks. We are not a market for the large, diversified, industrial Fortune 500 risks, but we can entertain a wide variety of classes and exposures on both an occurrence and/or claims-made basis.

We currently have the ability to offer up to $5,000,000 in capacity on excellent or superior paper (rated A XV or A+ XV as rated by A.M. Best), and typically look for accounts in the $10,000-$100,000 premium range. Click PRODUCTS on the menu line above for more details.

The Windward Group, Inc. is able to underwrite business in virtually every state, and we have producers from whom we will entertain submissions appointed throughout the country. Our success is based on the exclusivity of our appointments and the strong relationship we have built with those who are granted an appointment with our facility.
